Yesterday we mentioned the killings that took place at a Hanukkah celebration in Australia. Apparently a father and a son were the shooters. Australia has some very strict gun laws. They stated that this duo had six guns and enough ammunition to commit their crime.
Since October 7th 2023, people were warning of the danger of allowing the Muslim community to spout their hatred for the Jews. The Australian government allowed this hatred to foment over the past couple of years. There is a very good article that was put into a major Australian newspaper since this latest shooting, exposing the problem they have nurtured over the years.
In the aftermath of this disaster, the Australian government wants to review its gun laws. I have never seen a gun sitting on a shelf or in a home or anywhere, just start shooting on its own. The problem is not the access to guns. The problem is with the mentality and the heart of those who have the guns.
This was an attack against Jews. We know who the main perpetrators of violence against Jews are. Islam teaches its people that Jews must be wiped off the face of the earth. In Canada our governments have protected Muslims who have used loud speakers to broadcast death to the Jews and “from the river to the sea, Palestine shall be free”. No arrests have been made against those who spouted those slogans. Yet, currently there is legislation to stop true born again Christians from reading Bible passages that our ungodly government claims promote hatred.
Our P.M. came out after the attack in Australia claiming to support the Jewish community in Canada. This is the same P.M. who not long ago joined Britain and France in demanding the establishment of a “Palestinian state”. The U.S. has stated that that move hindered their efforts to find a peace deal with Hamas. Our P.M. knows how to manipulate words for his supposed advantage. Too many people are gullible enough to believe him.
The solution to all of this is not to commit violence against our politicians. The solution is not to commit violence against Muslims. The solution is to recognize that peace and hope come from knowing the true God. Islam has a false god. He is a god of hatred and war. Peace in Islam only comes through submission to that wicked religion. Our governments have been falling over each other to try to find a way to appease Muslims as they systematically take over businesses and infiltrate places of power.
Those who question what I am saying should read the current news coming out of Minnesota and the Somalian invasion in that state and also in Ohio. Read the news of what is happening in England right now. Read some of Tommy Robinson’s struggles as he has tried to warn about the invasion of his country by people who hate anyone who is not Muslim and who have been capturing and raping women at will.
The book of Daniel tells us there would be four world empires leading to the end of this current time. The Babylonian empire was in existence during Daniel’s lifetime. They were directed by God to capture and plunder Judah. That empire was eventually overthrown by the Medo/Persian empire. That empire was directed by God to allow the Jews to move back to the land of Israel and rebuild the walls of Jerusalem and the temple that should be in Jerusalem. The Medo/Persian empire helped fund that restoration. Eventually that empire fell to the Greeks under Alexander the Great. He was a party animal and died a relatively young man. His empire was split into four parts but they hung on to power for a time. Eventually the Roman empire came along and it defeated the Greek empire. The Roman empire was in place at the time of Jesus Christ. It was a powerful empire as well for a time. It eventually fell apart due to its immorality. There was no empire that came in and defeated it. That empire collapsed, but it will be revived in the near future. Daniel was directed to write of a stone cut out of the mountain without hands. That stone is a reference to the Lord Jesus Christ. He will overthrow the revived Roman empire and He will establish His kingdom on earth in the Millennium.
During this current interval, Canada, the U.S. and other nations have developed. The U.S. still assumes it is the super power, however, China is nothing to sneeze at. God is allowing all of this to take place, but to those who are awake and observing, we know that both Canada and the U.S. are in a free fall position. They are falling towards collapse. The moral bankruptcy that controls both countries is causing the financial collapse. Many are being hurt in this collapse. We know the cost of groceries is dangerously high. We know crime is on the rise. We know that unrest is growing. Provinces are talking of separation from Canada. The governments have no answers other than trying to increase their police and armed forces to try to control the population like Russia and Germany did for a time. China is currently the go to country for training in how to control a population. Mr. Trudeau admitted to that.
Where will it end? It will continue to deteriorate until the time when the Lord sounds the trumpet and the true New Testament saints will be removed from this earth. At that time, the antichrist will be introduced on the world stage. God will bring him into play. He is called the “man of sin”. He will come in with deception. We have a deceptive P.M. now but he is nothing compared to what the antichrist will be.
The world will be so frustrated and tired of trouble that they will welcome this man of sin onto the world stage. He will make deals and he will win the hearts of many. Anyone who gets saved during that time will not be welcomed. After three and a half frustrating years, he will go to Jerusalem, and he will enter the temple that he had previously ordered built, and he will declare himself to be God. He will defile the temple and that will drive the Jews out of there and into hiding. He will have his armies ready to go after any and all Jews as well as any and all true Christians. There will be no phoney Christians at that time.
The antichrist will force all people to take his mark. No one will buy or sell without that mark. The Bible warns that those who take that mark will never be saved. They will have sealed their doom.
From the moment the antichrist declares himself to be God, he will have three and a half years to try to destroy the Jews and wipe Christianity out. Many will be slaughtered but he will not succeed in his goal.
At the end of his seven year reign of deception and terror, the Lord Jesus Christ will return to this earth and He will defeat the antichrist and his armies. Satan will be bound with chains and cast into a bottomless pit for one thousand years. The antichrist and his false prophet will be cast into the lake of fire. Jesus will rule over the entire earth for one thousand years.
Those who will submit to His rule from their hearts will be blessed. Those who want to fight against Him will not fare well at all.
We have been looking at God’s Word in the Song of Solomon. We have stated that this book is a picture of Jesus Christ’s present relationship with His true church. The church was not in existence on earth during the time of king Solomon. It was a future event that was started by Jesus Christ and remains His body.
There are those who reject the church outright. There are many who look for a party church of their liking. There are a few who are truly saved and become a part of the true bride of Christ. Those who are a part of Christ’s bride can take comfort in the verse we have at the top of this devotional. We have a Saviour Who loves us deeply. He wants the best for us. We are privileged to have His blessing blowing across the garden that is part of the true church. In that garden we can rest and be refreshed with pleasant fruits. The “taste buds” of true saints are changed by the Lord. The animosity toward the truth is not known there. There is a love of truth and a joy that is only possible through knowing the true Saviour and Lord. Be sure you know the true Saviour and Lord today. He is the hope of mankind.
