Proverbs 12:17 He that speaketh truth sheweth forth righteousness: but a false witness deceit.
Today is declared the day of “Truth and Reconciliation” in Canada. It is supposed to recognize the abuse of North American Indian children in the past. It is also supposed to recognize the abuse of Indian women who put themselves out there to lure men in.
One of the lies that has been adopted by many is that the Indians should be known as “First Nations” people. There is no way we could ever prove they are the first nation to live in what we call Canada. What we do know is that the Indians are a pagan people who have chosen to reject the true God.
The Catholics and the Anglicans tried to convert them to their pagan religion. They used force to try to break them.
The truth is that we cannot force anyone to believe in God. Our governments are trying to force us to believe that the Indians own Canada and we, Europeans, need to be grateful that they are allowing us to live on their land.
There is no doubt that the Europeans used wicked ways to subdue the Indians. What the Europeans proved is that God is right when He tells us:
Proverbs 20:1 Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise.
Those who use liquor are fools. It distorts reality. To get the Indians drunk to get them to agree to certain things was wrong. The answer to the Indian paganism is the preaching of the Gospel of Christ. Preaching the Gospel is not coercion. It is not forcing anyone to believe something they do not want to.
Preaching the Gospel is the preacher speaking with conviction and trusting in the work of the Holy Spirit to convince the lost person of their need to be saved.
The Indians have proven the depravity of man. They hated anyone coming into their territory. They could not get along with their own people. They have tribes and they could not get along.
Butchering people and scalping them is the product of paganism. Over the decades, the Indians have been pacified to where they no longer take people’s scalps. Now they want our money. Because most Europeans are also pagans, they do not know how to deal with the current demands of the Indians, so we have land acknowledgements being made and we have governments stealing taxpayers’ money and giving it to the Indians.
It is easy to give other people’s money away. There is no accountability in government and there are no consequences for bad government.
The Liberal (lie-beral) party in Canada is riding high in the polls right now. At least that is what we are being told. It is shocking that so many Canadians are so shallow thinking as to accept the current government as being good for our country.
We have declared a trade war with the U.S. The government has lied to us about the reason they walked away from a very good deal. They will not show us the terms of that deal because it would expose them as liars. The U.S. has given us some information on that deal.
The bottom line is that we need truth in our world. We are not going to get the truth from the Indians. We are not going to get the truth from the majority of Europeans or Asians that have moved into this country.
The truth will only be found in the God of Truth.
Exodus 34:6 And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
I cannot force anyone to believe what I believe. God does not force anyone to believe in Him. He makes it abundantly clear that He is the Only True God. He has shown us throughout the Bible of the disastrous results of rejecting Him. He has also shown us the blessings of knowing Him.
I can testify to the fact that knowing God is a blessing. However, you do not need to take my word for it. Read the Bible and believe in the God of the Bible and you will find Him to be Truthful in all things.
Reconciliation can only come when Truth is accepted. Reconciliation does not mean money has to be given. It means true forgiveness needs to be received and given.
I Corinthians 1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
What is your view of the Gospel of Christ? Are you a true, born again Christian today? If so, then you have a very important message that your neighbours and others need to hear. Be sure you have the Truth and then share that with others. You will be blessed in doing so and those you share it with will also be blessed. Few are willing to receive the Truth, but that is to their detriment. Don’t corrupt the Truth just to feel good. Your soul will never be content with a lie. You may try to convince yourself that the lie is the truth, but inside you know that is not true. If you find yourself avoiding the Truth, you know you have a problem. Jesus declared:
John 8:31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
