All of God’s Word is true.  This verse tells us that God is not willing that any should perish.  That means all people.  

The Bible also declares that “All have sinned and come short of the glory of God” Romans 3:23.  God further tells us that “The wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”  Romans 6:23.  We see that man has a problem.  Man is born a lost sinner and is not capable of saving himself.  Man, left to himself, will end up in Hell.  That is the reality.  However, God is not willing that any should perish.   In His mercy and grace, He provided salvation through His only begotten Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.  Jesus Christ did not come riding on a horse or in today’s terms, flying in a fighter jet.  Jesus Christ came as a babe laid in a manger.  He grew up in a carpenter’s home and ministered to the needs of mankind for approximately 3 1/2 years.  He laid down His life, allowing Himself to be nailed to a cross.  He bled and died on that cross, shedding His blood for mankind.  He made the way for man not to perish, and provided the way for man to be saved.  He did not stay in that grave, but rose again victorious over sin and death.  Today He is seated on the right hand of God the Father in heaven.  He is interceding for mankind.  Jesus declared:

John 14:6 “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

The local church is designed by Jesus Christ as the place where these truths and many more are to be proclaimed.  God wants every person to know His forgiveness and His peace.  That includes each person reading these words.  As a local church we are here to help you to know God’s forgiveness and peace.  That forgiveness does not come through man’s works.  It comes only through Jesus Christ.  We are praying and trusting that this website can be a blessing to all who find it.  Please contact us with any questions of comments you have.
