Let The True Light Direct Your Path

Exodus 37:17  And he made the candlestick of pure gold: of beaten work made he the candlestick; his shaft, and his branch, his bowls, his knops, and his flowers, were of the same:
18  And six branches going out of the sides thereof; three branches of the candlestick out of the one side thereof, and three branches of the candlestick out of the other side thereof:
19  Three bowls made after the fashion of almonds in one branch, a knop and a flower; and three bowls made like almonds in another branch, a knop and a flower: so throughout the six branches going out of the candlestick.
20  And in the candlestick were four bowls made like almonds, his knops, and his flowers:
21  And a knop under two branches of the same, and a knop under two branches of the same, and a knop under two branches of the same, according to the six branches going out of it.
22  Their knops and their branches were of the same: all of it was one beaten work of pure gold.
23  And he made his seven lamps, and his snuffers, and his snuffdishes, of pure gold.
24  Of a talent of pure gold made he it, and all the vessels thereof.

According to a headline I received this week, there is a “revival” taking place in Saskatoon. I was not aware of this and clicked on it to see what was happening. What I saw was a real active work of the devil, corrupting the minds of gullible people who are hungry, but not being led to the truth. The speaker would break into “tongues” at times. No doubt there are other places across the world that are subjecting themselves to this work of the devil. The speaker involved in Saskatoon now is going to Houston, Texas next. He is spreading his false doctrine wherever he can.
The Bible warns of the apostasy that will abound in the last days. We are there. At a time like this we need to know the “candlestick”. We need to know the true Jesus. I trust you know the true Jesus today.
Unlike the table, the candlestick was made of pure gold. It was made of beaten work. Jesus Christ is the Light of the world. There is no light outside of Jesus Christ.

John 1:9  That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.

Every person knows they do not meet God’s holy standard. The majority of mankind works feverishly to avoid contact with God. Many do not go to church. Many others choose cults like Catholicism or any number of “Protestant” churches that teach a false god. In spite of this fact, no one will get away from the fact that they all had an opportunity to be saved.
The candlestick was of pure gold, representing the purity of the Light of the world. There is no shadow of turning.

James 1:17  Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

No person will have an excuse when they meet the Lord. The majority of humanity will meet the Lord at the great white throne. That will be a dreaded place, but most people have chosen to meet Him there.
The candlestick was to have six branches, three on either side. Each branch had a bowl that would be fashioned to look like almonds. The “knop” was like a ball. There was a knop and a flower on each branch. It was a specially designed candlestick. It had capacity to hold enough oil to burn consistently. The priest needed to keep the lamps trimmed and fuelled.
The candlestick was designed by God. Bezaleel was not asked to come up with the design. He was commanded to make the candlestick according to God’s design.

John 8:12  Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

There is no darkness in Jesus Christ. Sadly, we as people fail God. Even those who are saved, do not always obey God. We sin. That is a fact, but not an excuse we can use to justify our sin. Today, there are far more professing Christians who seek to justify their sin than the true Christians who want to be free from sin.
The world does not know the difference between a true Christian and a phoney Christian. They do not read a Bible. Many do not even own a Bible. Many people never go to a true church. Many attend a religious social club that calls itself a church, but most people never darken the door of a true church.
Jesus Christ is the true Light and every knee will bow before Him one day. He will receive the glory due unto Him.
This candlestick was like no other. It was not to be copied and sold in the market. The priests were not to copy this design and make one for themselves. This candlestick was unique and it was in the tabernacle.
Jesus Christ is unique. He cannot be copied. There are false Christs. They cannot save and they cannot provide the forgiveness of sins that man so desperately needs. The wise person considers the true Light and humbly turns to the Light. Don’t settle for that which cannot help you. The devil knows how to use hype to deceive people.
You may convince yourself that your sin is not that bad and that you will be alright. Yet, you know you are not alright. You prove it by avoiding the true Light. You refuse to go where the Word of God is clearly preached. You get upset when you hear the truth. Yet, you insist that your way is good enough. That insecurity is the evidence that you are not going the right way. Stop fighting and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ today and know His peace. Let Him light your path.
