Proverbs 9:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.
11 For by me thy days shall be multiplied, and the years of thy life shall be increased.
The “fear of the LORD” is essential to life. We see here it is the beginning of wisdom. The fear of the LORD is not that crippling fear that many people had for the government when they rolled out the wuhan virus hoax. By way of review, it is important to note that while they were trying to create a panic with that “virus” the only thing people seemed to be dying of during that time was of the wuhan virus. There were no reported deaths of cancer or anything else. We know people who lost a loved one during that time. The person did not die of the virus, but the health officials insisted his death certificate should note death via the wuhan virus. The tests used to test for that virus were phoney. Dr. Fauci has been exposed as a fraud. He should be in prison for the rest of his life, but he is still a free man. There are other health officials that need to be in prison as well. Instead, there have been honest, tax-payer citizens who have been fined and imprisoned and lost their jobs over a hoax.
The government is so corrupt that they have taken control of the health system and the legal system and they are using that to gain control of the citizens of this country.
Connected to the fear of the LORD is the knowledge of the holy. When we have knowledge of Who God is, we will have understanding of many things. God’s Word reveals Who God is, starting with the creation of heaven and earth. He created all things, including man, in six literal days. The foolishness of promoting evolution is insanity, but it is also evil. Evolution is a complete lie. If we submit to God’s wisdom we will know that. In the 1800’s when evolution was popularized, some professing Christians did not know how to refute those lies. They obviously did not believe the Bible. They developed an evil theory and called it “Theistic evolution.” Theistic evolution suggests that God started things off and then He allowed things to evolve over eons of time.
Then there are those who want to stick a gap between Genesis 1:1 and Genesis 1:2. That became known as the “gap theory”. There is no Biblical support for that “theory”. It is another tool of the devil to keep people from believing the Bible.
Again, if we submit to the fear of the LORD, we will receive His wisdom and we will know that those things are lies. We will also know that the current hysteria over “climate change” is also a lie. The climate is always changing. Those who read the Word of God will know that God changed the climate in the past to cause famines. He did that to get the attention of certain groups of people.
Our government is not much different than the four world empires that Daniel revealed to us. Each of those four empires assumed they were the highest authority. Their emperors accepted the worship of the common people. In fact some of them demanded worship. Our government has not directly come out and said it wants to be worshipped, but it is trying to restrict any broadcasting that would expose their corruption. During the wuhan virus debacle, they developed the terms “misinformation and disinformation”. Both of those terms were just another way of saying someone was lying, but they did not want to use that word. The ones who have been lying to us are our politicians and our health officials.
Our parliamentary system has become a sad joke. Very little of value gets done because no one is willing to challenge the narrative.
This failure is rooted in the failure of those who claim to know the Lord but are unwilling to submit to His authority. False prophets were plentiful in the Old Testament. False teachers were prevalent in the New Testament and they are still prevalent today. Most people could not identify a false teacher. Most people would reject what I am saying here. That is because they lack the fear of the LORD.
In verse 11 God continued to show the benefit of the fear of the LORD. When a person surrenders to the LORD, their days will be multiplied. There are thousands of people who die from drug overdoses and drunkenness and cancer caused by smoking and other bad habits. There are people who die from violence and other evil things. Death is a reality for us all. However, when we follow God’s way of living, death will come according to His design. He still controls the moment of death for every individual. He has proved that throughout the Bible. Doctors have their place, but even the doctors cannot prevent death. When God says time is up, there is nothing anyone will do to change that, unless the person pleads with God as Hezekiah did and God granted him another fifteen years. He did not use those fifteen years for God’s glory.
More importantly, it is only the person who lives in the fear of the LORD, that has eternal life. The body will die, but the soul is made alive at salvation, and live for all eternity. Many are searching for a way to live eternally, but they want to keep their sins. They will be shocked to discover that they will face the “second death” which will be an eternity in the lake of fire.
Rather than living with the fear of death upon you, trust in the Lord and let Him usher you into that heavenly home that is prepared for those who walk in the fear of the LORD. Don’t believe the false teachers who claim just about everyone goes to heaven and they are up there dancing and drinking and playing cards, etc. Trust in the LORD and be blessed.
