Psalm 2:1 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,
3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.
5 Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.
6 Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.
7 I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
8 Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.
9 Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.
10 Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.
11 Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.
There is a war taking place in Canada and the U.S. That war will not be won with weapons. It is a war that is initiated by the devil. It is the confusion that supposedly educated people have joined in with regard to the basic nature of man.
Genesis 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
There are things we face that do not have a simple answer. There are some things we will never fully understand on this earth. However, the gender of a human being is clearly defined in the Bible and every person can know exactly who they are. It is our wicked social agenda that is seeking to destroy this foundational truth.
God created man male and female. That is the foundation of humanity. That has never changed. In the year 2026 it is still the law of God. I listened to a U.S. politician questioning a doctor/scientist who could not answer whether a man can become pregnant.
Our public school system has become a pure propaganda machine. It is sad that so many parents care so little about their children. On the one hand, officials have demanded that spanking a child be classified as child abuse, however mutilating a child’s body because he or she has been deceived into believing they are not who their body says they are is acceptable.
Adam was much wiser than the educated people of our day. Genesis 2 tells us that God put him to sleep and took one of his ribs and with that he created a help meet for Adam. When Adam awoke from this surgery, God presented this help meet to him and Adam called her woman. Adam knew she was not a man. She was a human being but she was different from him. She was a woman and she had features that clearly identified her as a woman. She would be the one to bear children and give birth to children. Adam knew he could not do that.
It did not take long for man to become confused with regard to God’s design for man and woman. God judged Sodom and Gomorrah and destroyed the inhabitants of that city. Only Lot and his two daughters survived that judgment. Even Lot’s wife did not survive it.
That judgment did not stop men from lusting after men. Lost people just do not know how to behave. Romans 1 tells us that men lusting after men is unnatural. It also tells us that the distortion in men’s lives is the result of two things.
Romans 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
Those who pursue the sodomite agenda or are sympathetic to it, have rejected the Godhead and they also refuse to be thankful for Who God is and what He has done, and is doing.
That is still the problem today with that crowd, and it is a crowd. In our opening text God says that He sits in the heavens and laughs at the foolishness of man. He laughs in the sense that He knows it is utter foolishness. He has provided man with all the facts. It is tragic when people choose to reject the facts and would rather choose fantasy. The cost of that choice is eternal damnation. The people of Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed by fire and brimstone. They suffered the burning of that fire and brimstone for a short time. However, their souls are suffering in torment in hell now and their bodies will be resurrected and they will be cast into the lake of fire for all eternity.
God takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but His justice demands that He judge them for their wickedness. It is important to know the true God. He is God whether man likes it or not. Hiding our heads in the sand will not erase God. No man will avoid meeting God. Thus it is wise to submit to Him and serve Him. The blessing of knowing Him is not regrettable. Rejecting Him is regrettable now and into eternity.
