Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.
31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
The government of Canada has dedicated the month of June to something that God calls an abomination. What they are promoting is hatred toward God and man. Those who are saved do not need to bow to the wicked plans of the government. Christian parents should long ago have pulled their children out of the public schools. Public libraries have long promoted evil and Godly parents should reject them as well. Churches need to be teaching the whole counsel of God and that includes Biblical separation. We need to stand up for righteousness.
There are organizations that claim to be “Christian” that promote public protests and other diversions. These things will not work. Christians need to know their Bibles and need to be speaking the truth to neighbours and friends and even to complete strangers. God’s Word is not a book of suggestions. God’s Word is absolute.
This is again why we need to decide whether we will believe God or not. If we choose to believe God we will know that He has preserved His Word from this generation and for ever. If people do not want to believe God’s Word, then the perversions will work well for you. However, if you want to build your life on the perversions, you will have no impact on the wicked plans of our authorities.
In Genesis 1, we have the origins of all things that are created. We learn in verse 1 that God is everlasting and eternal. He has no beginning and He has no end. We learn as well from Genesis 1:1 that the word translated as “God” is “Elohim”. This name defines the plurality of the Godhead. When we come to verse 26, we see that God says: “Let us make man in our image . . .”
We know from the Scriptures that the Godhead includes and is limited to God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. John 1:3 tells us that Jesus Christ created all things. There is a unity in the Godhead.
Christians do not need to entertain the lies that “gender” is fluid. They claim that many children go through a time when they are not sure who they are. That may be true for some, but it certainly was not true for me. I never questioned whether I was a boy and later a man.
Romans 1 tells us where the twisted mindset we are witnessing, comes from.
Romans 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
We know that we are living in a time when more and more people are rejecting God. We know that God addressed sodomy in Genesis 18. There is a reference to the destruction of Sodom in Genesis 13:10. God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah due to their sodomite beliefs.
Before we get too far ahead, back in Genesis 1:26, God declared that they, the Godhead, were going to make man in their own image and in their own likeness. God is not twisted. When you look at false religions, you will find much debauchery in the wicked gods of the ungodly. False gods are the imagination of ungodly people. Ungodly people are directed by the devil.
God also stated that man would be more than just a male. God says: “let us make them”. We know from Genesis 2 that the “them” includes the man and the woman. God created the first two people on this earth. After that, man was to be fruitful and multiply. All the descendants of Adam and Eve would be either male or female. That is the only choice.
This is also important to note as we hear more and more about “aliens”. “Worldly wise” people are open to accepting the idea that there might be intelligent life on other planets. We know that the good angels have intelligence. They know how to serve God and they are used as messengers of God at His bidding. We also know there are many fallen angels who are being used by the devil for his evil plans. Some of the fallen angels are bound now awaiting their final judgment.
Back in Genesis 1:26, man was given dominion over all of God’s creation. Man was not given a higher place than God. He was to rule over God’s creation under God’s authority. We see this further in chapter 2.
In verse 27, God tells us that He did what He talked of in verse 26. He created man in His own image, and He created them male and female. This has never changed. The fall of man did not add more genders. The fall of man caused many problems for man including a corrupted mind. That is what we can read of in many places in the Bible, and it is also what we are witnessing in our time.
Those who are saved can be thankful that God has changed our nature and we can learn how to glorify God in all that we say and do.
Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Christians need to understand that our minds have been corrupted from our birth. At the moment of salvation, God changed our nature, but our minds need to be renewed and brought into submission to the will of God. This renewing can only take place as God’s people read and study His Word faithfully both at home and also through a true local church. You can ignore God’s truth if you want, but this will not go well for you.
